A failed attempt to preserve Modi with cut videos, hidden teleprompters and arrested voices
If Modi needs support in communication, where is the need to hide it? Accepting the truth is a better option than resorting to deception.
The cries, or silence, of our youth have not reached the ears of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Paper leaks or not, most of them will become pests, even cockroaches. Modi likes the melody anyway. His mind is tuned to rhythmic expressions of adulation and sycophancy. “Ways-Ways-Ways…” it’s the song he grew up with. No wonder, he’s afraid of real questions. Ask him – why don’t you cry (why don’t you get tired), and he will launch into an exciting monologue.
It is wrong to say that Modi does not answer questions. Modi chose his own media. A media outlet that ensures it is not subject to scrutiny. A media that erects protective equipment around itself. A media that tracks down and silences critics. A media that feeds his megalomania.
A media that confirms its lies and falsifies the truth of its rivals. A media that does not inspect its transgressions, does not explore its handicaps, does not highlight its failures. A media outlet pleading with sympathy – are you taking tonics? A media that becomes insensitive upon learning that it is not organic; sent directly by God to accomplish exceptional tasks.
Modi obviously doesn’t hold press conferences where adoring questions like – do you keep a handbag – can be overshadowed by irritating questions such as: do you keep a conscience? Real press conferences don’t provide the comfort of talking about how you eat mango. He will have to answer how note strips swallowed up a thriving economy.
Real journalists will ask whether doubt about the sanctity of electoral processes dulls the luster of his victories, not whether he was preparing for 2029 when 2024 was a deal made more than 400 years ago. Why should Modi walk on the mine when he can walk in the garden?
Modi also knows that the political project of the Sangh Parivar is absolutely indefensible. It is so unfair and unconstitutional that holding press conferences amounts to hara-kiri. What will he defend? Was the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) which kept itself away from the freedom struggle patriotic? Why did the RSS oppose the tricolor national flag? Why did Atal Bihari Vajpayee have to remind him Rajdharma? Is the Hindu Rashtra compatible with constitutional principles?
Was RSS right to proclaim that India should learn racist pride from Nazi Germany? Was note-bandi a success? Why is Adani above the laws of the land? Why are BJP members corrupt and tainted? Why did India stop buying oil from Russia? Why is he silent on US bullying and Chinese aggression? Does he support the genocide in Gaza? Why did he go to Israel two days before the war? Why does Rahul Gandhi call it a compromise? How many questions will he answer? The best way is to indulge in a monologue or sermon to your favorite media.
Right or wrong?
Hindi poet Naresh Saxena wrote: “Bhed nadi ho ho ho toe bridge na dharna hai“What he suggests is to enter the river if you want to understand its true nature. A view from the bridge may give you wrong impressions. In a political context, it is a suggestion to the people to judge a leader by his work and his true strength, and not on the basis of propaganda.

The attempt to hide the teleprompters placed in front of Modi is a clever ploy to create false impressions. There is enough visual evidence to show that Modi uses tele-prompters not only in public speeches and official functions. Photographs show a tele-prompter was placed in front of him in Italy to deliver a short prepared statement. But the the officially published image had erased the teleprompter from the photograph.
If Modi needs support in communication, where is the need to hide it? Accepting the truth is a better option than resorting to deception. There was a controversy recently when a BJP worker showed a live teleprompter while making a video on stage at a campaign rally.
Posting videos by mute the sound also reinforces suspicions. Some people will naturally guess that the news agency or the government doesn’t want people to hear what Modi said. Many videos of formal meetings with heads of state had audio muted. A few videos with audio were released somehow and people started talking about Modi’s intellectual limitations.
Some even sarcastically remarked on Modi’s artificial and unnecessary laughter. Modi could have avoided such embarrassment by adopting an open stance on these issues. What’s the problem if he spoke in Hindi and behaved gracefully instead of being sheepish while attempting English conversations?
Communication skills, or knowledge, are not the only qualities of a great leader. True patriotism consists of firmly defending the national interest. Modi could have strengthened his credentials by confronting Donald Trump and Xi Jinping on substantive issues. It requires neither language nor articulation; it requires moral courage and sincere intention. Mahatma Gandhi is the best example; he never tried to impress anyone, because his truth and morality overshadowed everyone else. Deception is the worst option; he is doomed to failure and embarrassment.
Rights and policy
How can a thoughtful man with many books, a passion for a just society, and a deep desire to serve the poor pose a threat to the nation? No, not a Naxal wandering in the jungle with the gun and revolutionary zeal who challenges the state through violent means. Just a peace-loving activist who aspires to make a difference with his pen. If such people are arrested under the National Security Act (NSA), citizens and the judiciary must intervene.
Uttar Pradesh Police invoked NSA against journalist and author Satyam Verma and student activist Akriti Choudharyportraying them as the mastermind of the Noida workers’ protest that sparked violence last month. There is no evidence to prove they planned or incited the violence. Even if they supported the demand for higher wages for workers, should they be treated as a threat to the nation and therefore mercilessly hunted down under draconian laws? What is the crime?
Supporting the demand that a poor factory worker, struggling to keep his family alive on about Rs 10,000 he earns per month, should be given a little more money is such a heinous crime? Leaders who waste hundreds of millions of dollars on self-advertising, the elite who spend thousands of dollars on a single dinner and the middle class who buy a pizza for Rs 500 need to show some compassion. The worker, who builds the country and supports the economy, does not ask for the moon. His dreams don’t go very far; he desires a few hundred more every day to ensure his fragile body continues to function alongside the giant profit machines of the rich and powerful.
The class, sitting comfortably in air-conditioned offices, who pocket between Rs 8,000 and Rs 15,000 per day, must appreciate those whose hearts cry for those who earn between Rs 8,000 and Rs 15,000 per month. Verma, a journalist, could have chosen to join the Modi-Modi chorus for an annual package of Rs 40-50 lakh. And no police arrest anyone on a daily basis for spreading hatred and lies from television studios. Courtiers are the new celebrities.
Regardless, noble souls like Verma are valuable to our society. A noted citizen of Lucknow, Verma runs a charming bookstore – Jan Chetna – and library café in the name of a trust. Noida Police says, “books by Mao Tse-tung and reprehensible anti-democratic system” were found in his office. The Jan Chetna store does indeed have revolutionary material, from Karl Marx to Bhagat Singh, but when did it become a crime to possess such books? The police, who showed the arrest in Noida despite visual proof of his arrest from his Lucknow office, have obviously not learned lessons from similar false cases that have troubled the nation.
What happened to the NSA that slapped educator Sonam Wangchuk? What did the court say when climate activist Disha Ravi was arrested for sedition for ‘spreading tools’ during the farmers’ movement? The court reprimanded the Delhi Police, saying “citizens are the guardians of the conscience of any democratic nation.” Asking the police not to arrest anyone because of the government’s “wounded vanity,” the court said “a citizen cannot be thrown behind bars simply because he chooses to disagree with state policy.”
Verma and Choudhary are the conscience keepers of our society. Ernst Huber, one of the official spokesmen of Adolf Hitler’s Nazi regime, declared: “The concept of the personal freedom of individuals as opposed to the authority of the state had to disappear; it must not be reconciled with the principle of the nationalist Reich. »
Police and courts should not assume that India has already reached the level of Nazi Germany. We are still a democracy now. And writing for justice, both economic and social, is not a crime. As Ahmad Faraz wrote: “Now my skill is the wealth of my community/Now my passion is not fresh..”

Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history.
