Prabowo via social media (medsos) uploaded to his Instagram account, Sunday (6/21), wished Jokowi happy birthday. In the upload you can see a photo of Jokowi wearing a suit in a respectful position.

“Happy Birthday from the 7th President, Ir. H. Joko Widodo. Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia,” Prabowo’s personal post on IG read.

A day later, Jokowi responded to Prabowo’s social media post by thanking him.

“Thank you Mr. President @prabowo,” Jokowi wrote in response to Prabowo’s upload, Monday (22/6).

Prabowo sends orchids and messages

Reported by detikJateng, Monday (22/6), purple orchids from Prabowo were placed in the car garage of Jokowi’s residence in Solo, alongside orchids from Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya in peach color with the initials TIW. In addition, there were white orchids from the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, as well as orchids sent by the 13th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma’ruf Amin.

“With respect, on my behalf, I wish Mr. Joko Widodo a happy 65th birthday,” read the content of Prabowo’s message.

In his message, Prabowo hopes that Jokowi will enjoy a long life, good health and protection. The former defense minister also hopes that Jokowi will be given facilities in carrying out his duties in Indonesia.

Separately, Jokowi’s household staff, Tika, said that orchids sent from Prabowo had arrived at Jokowi’s residence since Sunday (21/6) evening. As it arrived after home opening hours, the shipment was not reported to the family until Monday (6/22) morning.

“It looks like it’s evening, but we don’t know exactly what time it was because we were at home. Yesterday the guard received it. We reported it this morning,” he said.
