Jokowi Will Continue His Political Safari To NTT, PDIP: You Should Bring Your Diploma

The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will continue to visit East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) after Lampung. President of the DPP PDIP Andreas Hugo Pareira, also a DPR member for NTT 1 constituency, advised Jokowi to bring his diploma during his visit.

“It is better that you go there (NTT) to bring your diploma, so that if you ask for it, you can show it to the public,” said Andreas when contacted on Saturday (4/7/2026).

Deputy Chairman of Commission XIII DPR RI said that Jokowi’s diploma case has gone on for too long. So, he said, Jokowi’s diploma could answer questions from the public.

“Because her case has been going on for so long, it has attracted public attention and socially, it has also become a public issue,” he said.

Furthermore, Andreas said that people at NTT were also wondering whether Jokowi’s diploma was real or fake. So he hopes that Jokowi will immediately resolve the matter by appearing in court.

“He is expected at the district court for the diploma case. He promised to attend. Keep his promise first, so that the case will be resolved quickly. Because people in the regions, including in NTT, are also asking whether Jokowi’s diploma is genuine or fake,” he said.

As is known, after leaving Lampung, the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Jokowi will go on a political safari to East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) revealed the reasons why NTT was chosen as the second location for Jokowi’s political safari.

“Pak Jokowi likes NTT, since his term in office he has done a lot of work in NTT,” said PSI DPP Chairman Bestari Barus in a short message, Thursday (2/7).

However, it is not yet clear when Jokowi will leave for NTT. However, Bestari confirmed that the second destination location for Jokowi’s political safari is NTT.

“NTT and (next) West Java (West Java),” said Bestari.

Bestari revealed that Jokowi would respond to the invitation of the people of NTT. Apart from this, Jokowi will welcome PSI administrators to NTT.

“(Jokowi will meet) the community of course, the main structure of the PSI, local volunteers too, traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders,” Bestari said.
