London property once used by Imran Khan put up for sale for £25m

A historic property in Richmond, southwest London, where former Prime Minister Imran Khan lived during and after his marriage to Jemima Khan, has been put up for sale with an asking price of £25 million.

The 10-bedroom detached property, known as Ormeley Lodge, is located on Ham Common, near Richmond Park. According to the property listing, the first Georgian house extends to approximately 15,814 square feet and includes seven bathrooms, extensive gardens and a separate cottage.

A source close to the Goldsmith family said the property had been put on the market following the death of Lady Annabel Goldsmith, Jemima Khan’s mother, in October 2025. The source said there was no practical reason for the family to keep the house, adding that it contained many personal memories.

Ormeley Lodge was closely associated with Khan during his visits to the United Kingdom. He lived at the property while married to Jemima Khan and continued to use an annex after their divorce. During this period, he allegedly held political meetings and met with Pakistani politicians, associates and members of the media.

The property also served as Khan’s London base until around 2014.

The house then became the scene of several demonstrations. Protests took place outside the property in 2014 while Khan was inside, and other demonstrations by supporters of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz took place in subsequent years. These protests followed regular demonstrations by Pakistani Tehreek-e-Insaf supporters outside the Sharif family’s Avenfield apartments in London.
