INILAMPUNGCOM — Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka this Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from morning to evening, was in the province of Lampung, especially in the regency of Lampung East.

Joko Widodo failed to enter East Lampung

Vice President Gibran arrived at Radin Inten II Branti Airport, Natar, Lampung South, at 06:00 WIB, welcomed by Deputy Governor Jihan Nurlela and KPTPH Head Elvira Umihanni.

The first visit saw the progress of the construction of Way Bungur Bridge at Kudus Jetty, Way Bungur District, Lampung East.

After inspecting the bridge, the Vice President accompanied by Deputy Governor Jihan Nurlela visited MT Muhammadiyah I Way Bungur.

Lampung Education and Culture Department Head Thomas Amirico and PMDes and Transmigration Department Head Slamet Riadi welcomed Vice President Gibran and Deputy Governor Jihan to the school grounds.

Then, Vice President Gibran visited the cassava lands of Muara Jaya village, Sukadana district.

Only then did they hold a meeting and lunch with traditional leaders at Randu Mas Hotel & Resort Taman Purbakala Pugung Raharjo.

For more than 2 hours, Jokowi’s father held a meeting to “make up for the failure” and held a friendly meeting with the local traditional figure.

At 16:00 WIB, Vice President Gibran returned to Jakarta via Radin Inten II Airport, released by Deputy Governor Jihan Nurlela.
