Bima (Atnews) – PT Pegadaian (Persero) Bali Nusra Regional Office VII once again demonstrated its commitment to bringing real benefits to the community through the free mass circumcision activity organized at the Bima branch of the Pegadaian Office. The community’s enthusiasm was so great that the number of participants increased from the initial goal of 120 children to 145 children.
This activity is part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program which focuses on improving the health and well-being of the community. By involving professional medical personnel, the entire circumcision process is carried out safely, comfortably and in accordance with health service standards.
Regional Head of PT Pegadaian (Persero) Bali Nusra Regional Office VII, Edy Purwanto, said this mass circumcision activity was a manifestation of the company’s concern to support community health while helping to ease the burden on families.
“Through this activity, we want to bring benefits that can be felt directly by the community. We hope that this mass circumcision program will not only help from a health perspective, but will also be a form of concern of PT Pegadaian (Persero) for the community, especially for families in need,” said Edy.
In the same vein, Sumbawa Island Region Commercial MP PT Pegadaian (Persero) Mustofa said the high level of community participation was proof that social programs such as mass circumcision were really needed and had a positive impact on residents.
“We are very grateful to see the extraordinary enthusiasm of the community. This shows that the presence of PT Pegadaian (Persero) is felt not only through financial services, but also through social programs that directly touch the needs of the community. We hope that activities like this can continue to be implemented and provide broader benefits,” said Mustofa.
In addition to providing free circumcision services, participants also receive medical assistance during the procedure so that parents feel calmer and more comfortable.
As part of a series of social activities, PT Pegadaian (Persero) Bali Nusra Regional Office VII also organized a blood donation action in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Bima City, which was attended by employees, partners and the general public.
