President Donald Trump will return to the stage to deliver remarks at the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner at the Waldorf Astoria on Friday. Here are the top five things to look out for:

SECURITY

Chaos erupted at this year’s banquet when an armed suspect, Cole Allen, stormed the event in what authorities believe was an attempted assassination of the president.

Taking two of dinner will be a more intimate gathering as security concerns loom. The Secret Service warned before dinner of a sharp increase in threat levels.

“We expect bad people to appear. It’s just a reality of where we are,” Secret Service Director Sean Curran said. “But we don’t treat it any differently than any other site the president visits.”

TRUMP’S SPEECH

It’s not yet clear what exactly the president will talk about in his remarks. Trump’s speech comes a week after he delivered a speech to the nation focused on “free and fair” elections, announcing the declassification of critical intelligence revealed.

During his speech, he denounced ABC and NBC for not having broadcast his remarks and demanded the withdrawal of their licenses, accusing the networks of being part of a “conspiracy” to “continue this fraud” and “protect the radical left”.

Right after the April shooting, Trump called a news conference at the White House where he said he might need to go softer on the press in his speech.

“I was ready to really tear it up,” Trump said of his speech scheduled for April. “And I told my people, ‘That would be the most inappropriate speech ever if I said one.’ So I’m going to have to keep it. I don’t know if I can ever be as tough as I was going to be tonight.”

“I think I’ll probably be very nice. I’ll be very annoying next time, but we’re going to have a great event.”

PRICE

A special award will be presented to U.S. Secret Service Officer Gonzales in recognition of his actions in preventing an armed suspect from entering the ballroom, the WHCA announced in a news release Tuesday. Gonzales was at a security checkpoint when the shooter tried to break into the Washington Hilton.

This is in addition to the awards and scholarships that are typically awarded to WHCA members for excellence in their coverage of the White House and to those pursuing degrees in journalism.

ENTERTAINMENT

Mentalist Oz Pearlman will return to entertain guests. At the April dinner, he correctly guessed the name of the White House press secretary’s daughter.

He was supposed to give a show, taking the place of a comedian’s typical remarks, but he couldn’t finish it when the dinner was interrupted because of the shooter.

PROTESTERS

In April, about 75 protesters gathered outside the Washington Hilton holding signs reading “No War on Iran,” Palestinian flags and chanting “Free Gaza” as guests arrived. The United States recently resumed military operations against Iranian targets after lengthy negotiations over a memorandum of understanding with Iran failed.
