WGOLF selected as the No. 7 seed in the Las Vegas regional

The Bears will make their 11th appearance in the last 12 possible seasons in an NCAA tournament Gobles employment. UNLV will host the 54-hole tournament on a 7,434-yard par-72 course at Spanish Trail Country Club. The host site for the Big West Championship two weeks ago features a 27-hole layout. Teams play the Canyons and Lakes courses. The top five teams at each of the six regional sites will advance to the 2024 NCAA Championship at Omnia La Costa Golf Course outside San Diego.
Baylor has advanced to the NCAA Championship through Regionals in six of the last eight tournaments, capturing championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and posting top-10 national finishes in '15, '17 and '18. Baylor advanced to match play and finished as national runner-up at The Concession in 2015; the Bears again advanced to match play and finished tied for fifth at Rich Harvest Farms in 2017; and BU fell in a playoff for the final match play berth en route to a tie for eighth place in the 2018 NCAA Championship at Karsten Creek.
The Las Vegas Regional features a 12-team field of No. 1 seed UCLA, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 3 Arizona, No. 4 Florida State, No. 5 California, No. 6 Purdue, No. 7 Baylor, No. No. 8 Oklahoma, No. 9 Colorado State, No. 10 Kent State, No. 11 Xavier and No. 12 Dartmouth.
Baylor has played six of the region's 11 teams during the 2023-24 season, going a combined 2-8-0 against those opponents.
Baylor lands in fourth place in the Big 12Championship, where junior Sera Hasegawa finished in a tie for eighth place, earning all-tournament team honors.
