Davis and Weeks invited to the USA Lacrosse Sixes training camp
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College lacrosse players McKenna Davis And Cassidy weeks were invited to a training camp at the US Lacrosse Headquarters for the US Sixes team.
The duo consists of two of the 24 players invited to the camp that starts today. Davis and Weeks join in Shea Dolce, Emma LoPinto, Shea Baker And Lydia Colasante who have earned an invitation to a US Lacrosse training camp.
Davis and Weeks played a crucial role in BC capturing a second national title in four seasons, a second straight ACC championship and a 20-3 mark.
Weeks capped off a stellar career, Weeks is having a career season for the Eagles with a personal best 40 goals, 49 points and a team and career-high 67 draw control with nine assists. The midfielder was named an All-ACC First Team selection and to the All-ACC Tournament Team. She finished the season with six hat tricks, eight games with at least three points and five games with at least five draw controls. She was the 15th selection in the AU Pro College Draft. The graduate increased her score total every year at BC. The New York native was also an IWLCA All-American. She finished her career with 127 goals, 32 assists, 159 points, 124 draw controls and started in 97 consecutive games.
Davis led AC and the nation with 69 assists in addition to 26 goals for a career-high 95 points. She broke the program record in career assists, finishing the season with 143 and counting. She was an IWLCA Third Team selection and an All-ACC Second Team honor. Davis stepped up in the postseason during the ACC and NCAA Tournament, recording 29 points in seven games.
