Furmanek (0.88 GAA, 28 saves) has started 61 straight games in Babson goal, leads the league with five shutouts and is 20th in Division III in goals against average.

SCOUTING THE ENGINEERS

WPI (5-4, 2-0 NEWMAC) has won four of its last five games, including a 3-0 whitewash against Clark on Saturday.
Junior Abbey Powers scored a goal and an assist in the win and graduate student Lauren Meinhold and senior Alexandra Wolf each scored one goal. Senior Eliza Dutson and junior Arie Lang contributed assists for the Engineers, who had a 26-4 advantage in shots. Freshman Myles Lakin made four saves in the second half to secure the shutout.
Meinhold (3-3-9) leads a balanced scoring attack for the Engineers, who have seven scorers. Sophomore Sophie Papamechail (3-1-7) and junior Eve Martineau (3-0-6) each have three goals, and Powers (2-3-7) and Dutson (0-3-3) share the team assist lead .
Moreau (1.42 GAA, 26 svs.) has started all nine games in WPI goal and has two shutouts.

ROAD WARRIORS

Tuesday's meeting is the fourth straight game for the Green and White and the seventh in the last eight games.
Babson is 4-2 on the road this season and 27-5 on the opponent field over the past four seasons.

Furmanek's win over Wheaton on Friday gave her a career record of 47-9, tying her with Jess Pasho (2008-11) for second on the program's all-time wins list.
Furmanek extended her program record for career shutouts to 26.

THE REGION CONTINUES

Babson has won 61 consecutive NEWMAC regular season games dating back to October 20, 2015. The last regular season loss was a 1-0 verdict at Mount Holyoke on October 17, 2015.
The Beavers have won 33 straight games against NEWMAC opponents since the start of the 2021 campaign, including the conference tournament. The latest setback was a 3-2 overtime loss to MIT in the 2019 NEWMAC title game.
