“It's a great tournament to start our fall season,” said the head coach Rawia Elsisi said. “We get to play a lot of quality matches throughout the weekend. The girls have worked hard over the past few months and are excited and ready to start the competition.”
The Trojans will team up with the two players from Mississippi State to form a team of eight that can compete in the round-robin style tournament. On Friday, Troy opens singles play against Samford at 1 p.m. before competing in doubles competition at 10 a.m., followed by singles play at 11 a.m. against Jacksonville State on Saturday. The competition concludes on Sunday with a doubles match against Samford (10 a.m.) and then a singles match against Central Arkansas and UAB at 11 a.m.

Summary 2023-24
In the 2023-2024 season, the program finished 16-7, 9-2 SBC, finishing as the seventh team in the ITA Southern Regional rankings and the No. 3 seed in the SBC Tournament. The program's nine conference wins were also the most for women's tennis in program history. Troy earned an opening-round victory over No. 6 seed Georgia Southern (4-2) before falling to No. 7 App State, 4-1, in the semifinals.
Hagar Ramadan-Amen And Leena Metwally combined for an 8-4 record, including a perfect 7-0 in SBC play to earn All-SBC Second Team for doubles. The two dominated court three with an 8-1 record in the dual competition. In Metwally's first year with the Trojans, she topped the charts with a record of 17-11 in doubles and 21-9 in singles. She followed alone Gabriel Leslie in singles competition, leading the team with a 28–5 record. Leslie controlled the fields at 4-6 with a 1-0, 1-0 and 18-1 record respectively in the dual competition.
