TUCSON – Leading up to Training Camp, this article will be updated with the latest signings of recent Roadrunners, NHL and AHL veterans, and Utah Mammoth prospects who could suit up for Tucson during the 2026-2027 season.

Below are players who signed NHL two-way contracts, AHL contracts or entry-level contracts with Utah. While these players will have the opportunity to compete for roster spots with the Mammoth outside of training camp, they can also spend time with the Roadrunners in 2026-2027.

CONTRACTS AT STARTING LEVEL

Greg Biber
The Mammoth signed defenseman Gregor Biber to a three-year entry-level contract starting in 2026-2027. The 19-year-old was selected in the fourth round (98th overall) of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Biber recorded two points (1g, 1a) and 12 PIM in 38 games with Rögle BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) in 2025–26 and appeared in 15 playoff games as the club advanced to the SHL finals. The 6-foot-1 defenseman has totaled five points (3g, 2a) and 36 PIM in 88 career SHL games and has represented Austria at the last three IIHF Division 1A World Junior Championships and the last two IIHF World Championships.

Yegor Borikov
De Mammoet signed striker Yegor Borikov for a three-year entry-level contract starting in 2026-2027. The 20-year-old was selected in the fourth round (110th overall) of the 2025 NHL Draft.

Borikov scored 30 points (16g, 14a) in 59 games with Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) in 2025–26, setting career highs in goals, assists and points. He added two goals in seven Gagarin Cup Playoff games with Dinamo Minks before finishing the season on loan at Metallurg Zhlobin, where he recorded eight points (2g, 6a) in four postseason games and helped the club capture a Belarusian Extraleague championship. The Belarusian native has recorded 63 points (33g, 30a) in 167 career KHL games and tied Evgeny Kuznetsov’s league record for most playoff goals in a single postseason by a player 20 or younger, scoring seven goals in 11 games during the 2025 Gagarin Cup playoffs.
