Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 Patch Notes Now Available

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the battle royale game Warzone have grown again, with a huge Season 5 update released on August 5th.

This update exposes a very large patch. The patch was released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 4, around 11:00 PM. While you wait for the downloads to be installed, check out the following complete patch notes on the Infinity Ward website.

The Season 5 update adds a new multiplayer map for Modern Warfare, a new Ground War map, and a new Mini Royale mode for Warzone. While the Warzone mode is being updated with new areas and freight trains, there are also new battle paths and more operators.

The Season 5 update is at a powerful time for Modern Warfare and Warzone. With more than 75 million battle royal games recently, Modern Warfare enjoys incredible sales of games and microtransactions.

Even if Modern Warfare and Warzone are working well right now, Activision will release its next mainline Call of Duty game later this year. Currently confirmed to be the new title of Black Ops creator Treyarch. And while there are no official details of the game yet, it is rumored to be Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Activision’s executives today said in a settlement call that this new game from Treyarch will be connected to Warzone with some ability.
