EXPAND Accelerator Pushes Israeli Technology to the Forefront of NASA's Artemis Program

Creation-Space’s flagship program, the EXPAND Accelerator, has been launched in Israel’s Mitzpe Ramon region, aiming to support five startups specifically developing technologies for the sustainable exploration and habitation of the Moon and Mars.

The program focuses on dual-use technologies, welcoming solutions that benefit life on Earth and pave the way for a sustainable future in space. The EXPAND Technology Accelerator is a joint initiative by Creation-Space and the local Tech7 innovation community, aiming to push Israeli technology to the forefront of NASA's Artemis program for the exploration and habitation of the Moon and Mars.

Building on its reputation as a startup nation, Israel is now turning its attention to innovation in deep space. The program features just five companies hoping to play a key role in humanity's next giant leap. These startups will have access to funding from the space investor community while also leveraging the expertise of space industry executives, technologists and business leaders.

The selected companies are as follows:

Tedence Space – Founded by Morris Laster, it is developing an AI medical platform that analyzes low frequency electromagnetic fields (ELF-EMF) for health diagnostics and protection in space.

Omnidrill – Founded by Lior Tevet, Omnidrill develops subsurface robotics technology for sustainable infrastructure solutions on Earth and future colonies on the Moon and Mars.

Inhayle – Founded by Itay Benartzi, Inhayle is developing a hydroxyl-based surface disinfection technology to reduce hospital-acquired infections and maintain cleanliness on the space station.

OASIX – Founded by Jonathan Haran, OASIX develops heating and cooling systems with carbon-neutral heat pumps that work in all weather conditions and reduce energy costs.

NOVAlert – Founded by Dan Atlas, NOVAlert develops sensors that can smartly monitor physiological conditions through clothing and detect and alert on dysfunction.
