Russia failed Beslan school massacre – BBC News
The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Russia killed about 330 people in 2004 in support of the Beslan school guerrillas. During the siege, Chechen rebels took more than 1,000, most of them children. The operation to end Russian forces used disproportionate force, the court added.
He also said officials knew the attack was imminent, but did not act. Russia said the verdict was “completely unacceptable” and would appeal. No Russian official has been attached for the death toll, including 186 children.
