British IS fighters “must be killed”, the minister says – BBC News

The “only way” to deal with British fighters in the Islamic State in Syria is to kill “almost every case,” the International Development Minister said. Rory Stewart said those who had converted to the so-called Islamic State believed in a “very hateful doctrine” and distanced themselves from loyalty to Britain. Because of their “serious risk” to security in the UK, they can expect to be killed, he said. The government said its comments were in line with the position expressed by the UK.
