Coronavirus: The first part of the British Isles of Guernsey to remove most of the blockade restrictions – BBC News
The island of Guernsey will become the first part of the British Isles to remove almost all blockade restrictions.
Guernsey has had no new cases of Covid-19 in three weeks. The existing schools will reopen, with removal measures, starting in early June. The island’s tourism industry has lost millions of pounds since the pandemic began.
Meanwhile across the UK, the blockade has presented challenges to the health risk of many people. A new survey suggests that young people are particularly affected, and many have said they have greater anxiety.
