Nigeria has criticized Britain’s travel restrictions after being included in the red list amid fears of the Omicron variant. “Everything is expected to be a global, not a selective one,” Sarafa Tunji Island, the UK’s high commissioner for Nigeria, told the BBC on Monday. He also retained comments from the UN chief, describing the restrictions imposed on some South African countries as “travel apartheid”.
