There’s been a significant rise in the UK of people seeking medical advice on changing gender. This report features Romario. Born as a girl in Jamaica — he fled to Britain 7 years ago to escape his father who’d physically attacked him on learning he was attracted to women. In this report, he goes back – and sees his father for the first time since his transition. Declan Harvey from Newsbeat went with him.
