Chinese coronaviro: Authorities have shut down major BBC sites including the Forbidden City

China has extended its travel restrictions in Hubei province (the occurrence of coronavirus) as the death toll rose to 26.

The cuts will affect at least 20 million people in 10 cities, including the capital Wuhan, where the virus originated.

On Thursday, a coronavirus patient died in Hebei province, which is the first death outside Hubei.

Another death was later confirmed in southeastern Heilongjiang province.

The province borders Russia and is more than 2,000 kilometers from Wuhan.
