San Jose Earthquake aide Benjamin Galindo undergoes surgery after the reported stroke

San Jose Earthquake, the 59-year-old assistant trainer, underwent brain surgery after suffering a stroke in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he was visiting the family. Galindo is still in hospital, according to an update presented by the club.

The former Mexican national team player and veteran of the World Cup is a member of the Earthquake Training Team led by Matthias Almeida, who led the MLS team before the MLS 2019 season.
