The value of earthquake reconstruction work in Banovina reaches 800 million HRK in January

Zagreb, January 12, 2022 – Contracts totaling SEK 215 million for the reconstruction of the earthquake-stricken Banovina area have so far been agreed, a tender of SEK 380 million is being prepared and another 250 million will be agreed. By the end of January, it is 800 million SEK in total.

A new tender has been announced for the reconstruction of an additional 1,200 homes, which means more than 6,000 in total out of the 8,193 applications received.

The task force announced that it will sign agreements next week for the construction of the first 30 homes and by the end of January agreements to build another 90 homes will be signed while a new tender will be announced by then for an additional 150 homes. .

Two more tenders for the construction of four apartment buildings in Petringa and two in Glina will be announced soon in addition to the tender announced on December 29 for the construction of four apartment buildings in Petringa.

The task force has informed the mayors of the earthquake areas and representatives of state institutions of a public call for European Solidarity Fund funding for the reconstruction of public buildings, mostly those related to cultural heritage as well as energy and transport infrastructure.
