Bengaluru: An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale hit Jamshedpur in Jharkhand Friday morning. Strangely, tremors measuring 4.0 were felt in Hampi, Karnataka, about 2,000 km from Jamshedpur, around the same time, the National Seismology Center confirmed.
