Covid-19 has completely demolished Yemen’s health care system, according to a charity run by Doctors Without Borders.

The death toll in the country – which was already affected by the civil war – is almost impossible to determine.

Yemen was already facing the worst humanitarian crisis in the world – following the conflict between the Houthi rebels and the internationally recognized government.

The rebels are backed by Iran while a coalition led by Saudi Arabia and backed by the United States and the United Kingdom.
