The mayor of Seattle has stepped back after Trump threatened to intervene

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, a Democrat, turned to President Donald Trump in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo when Trump called for protests in the city and a demand for law and order.
Trump has also claimed protesters, calling them “domestic terrorists” in Seattle.
The president has threatened to use active military to suppress the protests and has encouraged the governor to deploy the National Guard to help with the demonstrations.
