The only courtesy act that has changed the homeless lifestyle – BBC News
How many times have you been homeless without a second thought? Former soldier Phil Webb was hit rock bottom after losing his job and marriage was gone. He started drinking and ended up on the street. One day, as he sat on the streets of Carlisle, meeting his former soldier turned his life around. Stephen Finlayson offered Webb a bed for one night and contacted the Royal British Legion. Within a year, Mr. Webb had a roof over his head and also starred in a play.
About 18 months after the first encounter, the couple reunited.
