The signed sneakers – estimated by auction house Sotheby’s to fetch between $2 million and $4 million – are among the most expensive Jordanian items ever to be auctioned. The record price seals Jordan’s position as the most valuable athlete at auction of sports memorabilia, with the jersey he wore in the 1998 NBA Finals selling for $10.1 million in 2022.
