end of November. Well, this morning, the United States Geological Survey is reporting another minor earthquake near West Canton shortly after midnight. This is about 20 miles west of Asheville. And as of this moment, nine people have reported it to the US, with the 2.6-magnitude quake being the third near west. And since Sunday morning, all of these may be related to the earthquake that occurred in that area on May 23. Bryan’s neighborhood is joining us now. Brian, is this a trend that we should be concerned about at all? i don’t think so. I think most of these things were conceivable for the average person. It’s usually about 2.5 or better before people feel these things. This has been going on, since the 3rd week of May, around May 23rd, we had several of the biggest actually happen on Sunday morning, only after 6am was one 3.2. This is considered an earthquake. The two events that have occurred since then are after the Rifts. The four preceding this, up to and including May 23rd, are likely to be considered predictive. These are old mistakes. Some of these rocks are hundreds of millions of years old, even a billion years ago. There are old, inactive fault lines in these areas. CINDER, OLD, THEY SHAKE, THEY SETTLE A LITTLE BIT. And once they settle down and get some movement, it puts more pressure on other parts of the fault in that general area. And as time goes by, those things give way more. This can last for weeks, for months, and in some cases, for years. But as long as these events remain at this magnitude, I don’t think we’ll ever see any of them, if there are any reports of damage from that. But you know some people are talking about 3.2, coincidentally, it was reported on Sunday morning by over 700 people, including in the Mountain Experiment, some in Madison, also in Rockingham County, and right now. A lot of people have definitely felt that, MO
