Earthquake awareness training was provided to students studying in Sultanhisar district of Aydin by gendarmerie teams.

Regional Gendarmerie Command for Combating Domestic Violence and Head of the Children's Department, Environment, Nature and Animal Protection Team Command, Dog Team, JAK Team Command and Sultanhisar District Gendarmerie Command organized an activity for students and teachers studying at Aça Ali Sonmez Primary and Secondary School.

The gendarmerie teams provided teachers and students with earthquake awareness training and information on earthquake definition, precautions to be taken, earthquake kit preparation, avalanches and traps, and search and rescue activities of the gendarmerie teams. On the other hand, in the case of introducing the Gendarmerie and explaining its duties and responsibilities, all students and teachers conducted earthquake training. At the end of the ceremony, the gendarmerie teams presented the students with a children’s magazine belonging to the gendarmerie and a Turkish flag.
