Seismologists recently concluded that Taylor Swift's fans were literally shaken by an earthquake during a concert in Los Angeles last year, causing a small earthquake.

The second highest point the group noticed occurred when the music star sang “Love Story,” which they said created another noticeable movement on the meter.

This wasn't the first time the 'August' hitmaker and fans caused the ground to shake. CNN noted that during Swift's stop in Washington last year on “The Eras Tour” in Seattle, fans moved the needle and caused seismic activity measuring 2.3 on the Richter scale.

“I obtained the data from both nights of the concert and quickly noticed that it was clearly the same pattern of signals,” said seismologist Jackie Kaplan Auerbach. “If you stack them on top of each other, they're almost identical.”

“For Taylor Swift, I collected about 10 hours of data where rhythm was driving behavior,” she added. “The music, the speakers, the rhythm. All that energy can rush into the ground and shake it.

“What I love is being able to share that this is science,” she added. “It doesn't have to happen in a lab wearing a white coat. Everyday observations and experiments are science.

Swift herself described her tour nights in Seattle as “one of my favorite weekends ever” in a later Instagram post.

“Thank you for everything,” she added: “All the cheering, screaming, jumping, dancing and singing at the top of your lungs.”
