The newborn twins were reportedly killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza while their father was at a local government office to register their birth. Asser and Ayssel were just four days old when they went to get their father Mohammed Abu al-Qumsa's birth certificate. But while he was away, neighbors called to say their house had been bombed, and the strike also killed his wife and the twins' grandmother. Gaza's Hamas-run Health Ministry says 115 babies have been born and died during the war.
