“It felt like an earthquake,” he said. “The car was moving at 70 to 80 kilometers per hour, very fast.”

Chen escaped the car by jumping into the bushes beside the track, but most of his companions were closer to the middle of the group, his usual spot, and did not have enough time to get out of the way.
