FBI: New Orleans attacker used Meta smart glasses to plan attack

The New Orleans attacker visited the city twice in the months leading up to the New Year using Meta smart glasses to film Bourbon Street and plan the attack, according to FBI New Orleans Special Agent in Charge Lyonel Myrthil. The attacker, Myrthil said at a press conference, stayed in a rented apartment in New Orleans for a few days after October 30, during which time he recorded a video of him riding a bicycle through the French Quarter. He was wearing a pair of Meta smart glasses while carrying out the New Year's attack, but he didn't activate them that day.
