The Crescent Network responds to the Red Red Cross for the earthquake in Myanmar

In the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in Myanmar, the Red Red Crescent Network has been quickly filled to address the urgent humanitarian needs of affected societies. With widespread destruction across multiple regions, the Red Cross Association in Myanmar, with the support of the International Red Cross and Red Cross Communities Federation (IFRC) and other national societies, leads the efforts to provide life -saving relief and support for early recovery.

The International Red Cross and Red Cross Communities Federation increases life -saving relief and support early survival over the next 24 months, including multi -purpose cash grant interventions, restoring livelihoods, rehabilitating the washing facility, and distributing relief elements and health services.

Early -stage damage assessments are conducted, but damage to roads and infrastructure continue to delay efforts. The main focus of the movement at that time remains research and rescue, as it provides care before hospital and first aid, and the distribution of relief elements such as blankets, cotypols, hygiene groups, and working closely with the ICRC (ICRC) to help locate the missing family members through the Restoring Links program.
