An earthquake in East Afghanistan kills more than 800 people

Kabul, Afghanistan (AP) – The desperate Afghans were wounded in the death of the night in search of their missing loved ones after a strong earthquake was killed about 800 people and wounded more than 2500 in eastern Afghanistan, according to numbers provided by numbers on Monday.

A resident of the Nurgal area, one of the worst areas affected in Konar, said that the entire village had been destroyed.

“Children are under the rubble. The elderly are under the rubble. Young people are under the rubble.”

“We need help here,” he appealed. “We need people to come here and join us. Let's withdraw the buried people. No one can come and remove the bodies from under the rubble.”
