Asam earthquake: Brave nurses at Nagon Hospital Children's Shield during strong tremors, caught on CCTV

While fear and panic were holding the residents of the province of Asam after an earthquake 5.8 on Sunday, CCTV shots from the NICU intensive care unit (NICU) in a hospital in the city of Nagon Versoce on social media that exposed two courageous nurses praising newborns amid tremors. The nurses received wide praise for their courage.

The video, which was taken at about 4.40 pm at Aditya Nursing, shows that the nurses immediately come to help children in Nicu with an earthquake.

While one nurse is seen sticking to two children, the second infant raises. Objects in the room, including a mirror, oxygen cylinder and other medical equipment, are seen as they move as a result of strong tremors.

With calm behavior, the two nurses continued to stick to the infants until the earthquake stopped.

Epcentre from the 5.8 earthquake was recorded in the Uddarguri area at a depth of 5 km. The residents of Guwahati, Uddarguri, Sonpur, Tamulpur, Nalbari, as well as several areas, have rushed from their homes.

Two earthquakes follow within minutes – an earthquake 3.1 volume at 4.58 pm and a third measure of 2.9 size at 5.21 pm.

The tremors were also perceived in parts of Manipor, Arunatchel Pradesh and West Bengal.
