The earthquake set the west of North Carolina again, data appears

Lake Tokawi, North Carolina (WBTV) – another small earthquake west of North Carolina hit again during the weekend.

The last earthquake was hit at about 12:45 am on Saturday, September 20 in the Lake Tokawi area, in the province of Transilvania.

US Geological Survey (USGs) showed that the earthquake on Saturday morning reached 1.7 and hit the northwestern edge of the lake, near the Cardinal and Corridor engines.

The earthquake appeared to have been simple enough that no one mentioned it to USgs. However, it was hit in an area that witnessed several earthquakes recently.

Just a few days before the September 20 earthquake, the 2.2 earthquake shook the other side of Lake Tokawi in the Fox Ridge on Wednesday, September 17. The previous earthquake led some reports on weakness.

Usually, the earthquakes do not produce any size of any damage.

Since May 30, at least dozens of earthquakes have been reported five miles from Lake Tokawi, according to USGs. The strongest was the first during this extension and it was 2.4 kakel.
