The earthquake with the first 5 size shakes Istanbul, causing panic

Istanbul – Türkiye's emergency services said that a strong earthquake shook Istanbul and other parts of northwestern Türkiye on Thursday. The earthquake sent people running from buildings and forced evacuation from schools, but there were no immediate reports on damage or victims.

Temblor focused on the initial size of 5 in the Marmara Sea, off Tekordag Province, according to the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, AFAD. At 2:55 pm local time (1155 GMT) was struck at a preliminary depth of 6.71 km (4.17 miles).
