A committee of US lawmakers has released more than 20,000 pages of documents from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein, including those that mention US President Donald Trump. One is an April 2011 email exchange from Epstein, a convicted sex offender who died in 2019, to his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, in which “I want you to realize that the dog that hasn't barked is Trump… [Victim] I spent hours with him in my house.” Democrats said the emails “strike against the White House's cover-up of Epstein.” Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing with Epstein, and the White House said the release of the three email exchanges creates a “false narrative.” The White House also says Epsteinuff-Max refers to the “victim” in the Epstein-Max email without complicity in any wrongdoing.
