Homelessness: Sleeping in the rough countryside



The number of homeless people in the UK who have died on the street or in temporary accommodation has doubled in the last five years, according to new data from the Guardian. The newspaper found a fatality last week last year. And this is not a tragedy confined to big cities. Other research suggests that the number of people sleeping in rural areas has increased by 32% over the last five years, and that charities say that focusing on urban areas will not help.
