Study regulator blames ministers for chaos in England – BBC News

Ofqual, England’s exam regulator, has blamed ministers for chaos over this year’s results. The president of Ofqual said the ministers had warned that the emergency grading system would lead to major problems. Roger Taylor added that ministers have been advised to conduct or postpone socially distant examinations. Labor said it was clear that Education Secretary Gavin Williamson was responsible for the disorder. Millions of students in England and Wales have started returning to their classrooms today. Huw Edwards presented this report to our education editor Branwen Jeffreys. Please subscribe HERE .
