Boris Johnson PM is positive for coronavirus

Premier Boris Johnson has been positive about coronavirus, Downing Street reported.

Mr. Johnson has mild symptoms and will self-isolate on Downing Street.

“Professor Chris Whitty was tested for coronaviruses with the personal advice of the chief medical officer of England,” he said.

The government will be responsible for crisis management, the statement added.

The test was done by NHS staff at No. 10.

In a statement, Mr Johnson said: “Over the last 24 hours, I have developed mild symptoms and have been positive for coraviruses. I am now self-isolated, but I will continue to respond to the government’s video conference as we battle this virus.
