A woman who had her right leg amputated as a result of a roller coaster accident at the Alton Towers theme park has described the operation as “quiet”. Victoria Balch told the Victoria Derbyshire program that the pain had become a burden after an infection. He went on to meet the same program as he learns to walk again, using a prosthesis.
