Nearly 200 health workers have died as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that began in Venezuela in March. The country has had at least sixty-eight thousand cases and more than five hundred and sixty deaths. The BBC has reported that health workers across the country have been working for weeks without masks or gloves, saying they are afraid of dying from the virus at work.
