Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has told the BBC that with the disputed territory of Kashmir, peace with India would be “tremendous” for the wider region. Mr Khan, a former cricketer who became a leader eight months ago, said residents of nuclear-powered weapons could only resolve the talks. The comments come as India prepares to vote in the general election, a few weeks after Kashmir’s violence erupted. A suicide attack on Indian forces led to cross-border airstrikes.
