Today, state health officials confirmed that 33 people have died from the Coronavirus. 264 deaths were reported in December.

The country also confirmed 945 new positive cases, bringing the number of active cases to 15,622.

There are 467 people in South Dakota hospitals due to the virus.

Flu season has officially kicked off for the 2020-2021 season with 10 confirmed flu cases in South Dakota.

On Friday, health officials confirmed three new cases in addition to one flu-related hospital admission in Folk County.

The bridges in Sertoma and Dunham Parks will be reused for use by the end of 2020, after being destroyed by floods in March of 2019.

One of these bridges is a popular location for photography on the outdoor campus that connects the main campus to the square and bike paths on the other side of the campus.

The upper Midwest does not experience many large earthquakes, but even when a smaller earthquake occurs, we may still be able to feel them.
