Boris Johnson promises the vaccine will be faster as the army is brought in to help – BBC News

Boris Johnson has promised that by mid-January, hundreds of thousands of people will be vaccinated against coronavirus. It has been reported that the UK is bringing in an army to help keep pace with the expansion of the UK, after the program has not yet given pace. The UK government has promised to vaccinate all cared-for residents by the end of January, and a total of 13 million vulnerable people by mid-February. The NHS England warned that there were more Covid patients in hospital in all regions at the peak of the first wave of the pandemic than in April 2020.
