Boris Johnson Confirms Customs Control Plans in Northern Ireland – BBC News

After ten weeks in office, tomorrow Boris Johnson will offer the EU a plan for Brexit. Issue ten has highlighted the UK government’s latest bid and the UK will end the EU by the end of the month, despite the adoption of a law in parliament to prevent a deal.

To date, an important sticking point has been to resolve the border issue between Ireland and Northern Ireland. The UK Prime Minister has told the BBC that his plan will require some customs control following the Brexit on the island of Ireland.
