Just 11 minutes ago, a 3.8-magnitude earthquake occurred near Tonopah, Nye County, Nevada, USA. The tremor was recorded on the morning of Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10:10 a.m. local time, at a shallow depth of 8.6 miles below the Earth’s surface, and the event was recorded by the United States Geological Survey, the first seismic agency to report this. A second report was later released by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), which also listed it as a magnitude 3.8 earthquake as well.
