China’s population is growing at the slowest pace in decades – BBC News
China’s population grew at the slowest pace in decades, according to data released by the government on Tuesday. The average annual growth rate has been 0.53% in the last 10 years, less than the rate of 0.57% between 2000 and 2010 – the population reached a population of 1.41 billion. The results increase pressure in Beijing to encourage measures for couples to have more babies and prevent population decline. Please subscribe HERE
